Winter Squash, Butterbush

Cucurbita moschata.

A familiar butternut but with a bush habit for those tight on garden space. Delicious flavor and range of sizes. Plant 2-3 seeds in hills 4' apart after last frost. Harvest when fruit is solid beige and neck starts to dull from green to brown.
